I'm sure it was unintentional, but..... She happened to put grandpa's duck upside down in the trough when she was setting up for the race... Her duck, right-side up, won!

We had a 5k at school yesterday. It was a beautiful sunny day and we did it in 38 minutes! Not a great time, but we ran a lot more than I expected! Probably about half? Katie did great and we all stayed together. It was a great time. I'm still feeling it in my legs....

Easter egg massacre

Well, I knew better than to leave out the filled Easter eggs. But I did. And while we are at tae kwon do, Gromit took it upon himself to empty all of the candy out! Without breaking one egg!!

Fortunately only a minority of the eggs had candy, just a few dozen peeps and some chocolate eggs. But, the little jerk was clearly on the table selecting his prey out of the basket.

This dog is too friggin smart. I hope that Roxy at least got some of the candy. But I doubt it.

My phone was full, and thus I only recorded 1/2 of their swim. Doh! And while I brought my camera, I didn't check the batteries... Which were dead. So this is all you get.

They won! It was s real nail biter and we had a great time. And Katie made her way into the court after the game! She congratulated a player & hunted down Victor E Bull!!

Well, it's been too cold to take my phone out on the hill. And tomorrow will be no different. So our pics of this trip will be mostly indoor pics!!

After day 2 of skiing!

She's still smiling. And having a blast in her lessons. Despite today being colder & snowier, she had fun. Tomorrow.... Well, at 9am it's supposed to be about -5 degrees & feel like -20. At noon up to 5 & feeling like -11. I think there will be many breaks tomorrow. We could instead ski Saturday, but I'm not sure how much better that will be!
