Kat's first swim class

Tuesday night was Kat's first ever visit to a pool. It was a very warm pool and the class is for 1-3 year olds. I think she loved it. She did try to drink the water most of the time.

Kat and her buddy, Ben (he looks good in the AM- well, he always looks good)

She likes to climb over him....he's very accomodating, except when he's had enough and just gets up and walks away. I heard a pretty good thunk when that happened today.
Kat was ecstatic to 'find' my unsigned Chase credit card! She played with it for hours.....that can't bode well.

New members of Kat's club

Wendy and Bryan from Calgary were here to visit Kat earlier this week. I think they liked her. And vice versa.

Ben's daily dental exam.

Bryan and Kat, in her pink, camo, skull and crossbones jammies.

Kat's first visit to the neighborhood spray park...not sure she's digging it yet

It got better once she started playing footsie with the 1o month old.

Posing by the big ball.

Much better than water spurting in your face....

This is Kat's second trip (she was better dressed for it). If you look closely, you can see our reflections in the granite.

Bryan and Wendy watching at the spray park.

Kat, posing on our patio in the beach accessories that Wendy brought her.

Accessorizing the bikini that Ann gave her at our shower back in May.

I love these two.....it's almost like she's trying to get a better look at something or someone....

Don't you hate it when you're just too tired to do your job?

Love the swings

Kat's Visitors

We had old friends from Buffalo visiting this weekend. They were both on our softball team virtually right out of college and were at our wedding 16 years ago. It was awesome to have them in town for a few days. Joli lives in Phoenix now and Lori lives in Virginia Beach, but spent the last 6 months in Oregon doing Physical Therapy traveling jobs. We've met up with Lori a few times while she was in the west. She's headed home shortly.

I don't know why Kat felt the need to crawl through the chair. I'm just glad that she did.

Boo was king of the hill at the dogpark.

Saturday we went to Mt Rainier.

Kat really likes her backpack. She took awhile to start playing with my hair. But she did realize the potential eventually.

Heidi, Dan, Lori, Joli and Joli's friend Sara, and the idiot twins, who are not good at posing for pics.

Another ferry ride for Kat.

At Snoqualmie Falls.

Joli and Sara and Kat at the falls.

Labor Day Weekend

Saturday- North Cascades National Park and a new stamp for Kat's National Park Passport.

Was it windy?

This poor kid has her diaper changed more in the car than practically anywhere else.

Sunday- Dan's birthday. We went to see the Everrett Aquasox in their last home game of the season. They won and more surprisingly, the sun came out and it was a beautiful day. With Dan's co-workers, Mike, Megan and Laura.

Monday- Lake Chelan- no new stamp, but still new ground.
