Kat meets the family- Buffalo/Rochester

This is Liza's photo. Despite seeing my entire family all at once....I took no pics. Oops.

Charlotte and Kat checking out Kat's new Butterfly Garden ball pit (which Charlotte picked out for her). Kat loved all the balls.

At the UB/Army football game, which UB won in OT, with Grandma.

Kat, Dan and Grandpa and Grandma.

The campus on a beautiful fall day.

At the annual Pizza Plant gathering. Kat really drew the crowds, and then allowed everyone to worship her in turn.

Brian, Corey and Kat.

Linda, Karen, Larry, Kat and their two little guys.

Pete, John & Katie.

Tarun, Bruce & Dan.

Nan, getting the requsite dental exam and Dave in the background.

Kat sleeping in her peapod. And in her Halloween costume- that's what idiot parents do when they throw ALL of the baby's bedding in the washer and leave the house for the day, neglecting that all-important dryer step. Dough!

Grandma and Kat and one of her new toys.

Uncle Tom and Kat, with Grandma in the background.

Kat and Cheryl checking out the gifts Cheryl brought for her.

Kat's latest adventures

Kat in the morning. Second bottle of the day. She doesn't hit her stride until the third one!

Boo in the river at the dogpark. I love all of the sunspots.

What? The car is not an appropriate Kat toy? She really likes it. You can't see that she has a plastic bag in her left hand. I parked her in the driver's seat so that I could steam clean the carpet on the passenger seat where the milk had spilled (and spoiled). I think that my mission was successful.

Greg picked up the guitar and Kat was on him like Ben on her high chair tray.

With Mel and Greg at Buffalo Wild Wings in Portland on Monday. She liked her crown. Sort of.
In her tunnel at the park.
Lunch with my coworkers. She was shy crying baby for the first half, but then the baby I know turned up and tried to empty Mike's wallet. Just like I taught her, go for the wallet......

At the grand opening of the play area at the swanky Bellevue mall. She loved it, and as the rain starts, we may just be regulars there. Even though she's not walking, she really motors on all four and I had to walk above her to keep her from getting stepped on.

Kat's latest visitors

Sherry from Edmonton was here this weekend, with Mel and Greg on her heels. We all had a great time, especially Kat, who thoroughly enjoyed the newest members of the Kat fan club. She will be happy to go to Portland with me tomorrow to hang out with Mel some more. It's either that or back to just boring old me 24/7 until 10/15 when Dan gets his life back. We're both looking forward to Portland tomorrow.

Sherry and Kat DT Seattle.

Mel & Greg's first meeting with Kat (who had just finished lunch and was undoubtedly covered with food).
It was REALLY WINDY when we crossed Lake Washington, the waves were crashing over the eastbound barriers. We hoped the bridge was really floating.....

Boo and his new best friend Greg on the couch.

Dan pushing Bob and Kat over a log at a park last weekend.
This is mealtime at our house now......she plays with the collander, the food, puts as much food in her hair as possible.....it's definitely challenging. I don't know how much she acually ingests. Sherry was no help, she said it will get worse before it would get better. I just can't wait.
