I realize this video is shaky, and the ladies in front of me leaned in to have a chat, but I was trying to cover the screen so it wasn't bothering people behind me, and I wanted everyone to see that the radio city Christmas extravaganza has not one, not two, but three live camels on stage for the nativity scene! And a few other random animals! Where the heck do they keep three camels in radio city music Hall?

(She did great. Though she was the only competitor in her age group/class… So I think she was guaranteed first place no matter what. But she really did a good job.

The girls had a synchro sculling day today where they competed in specific skills. They did great!

For those of you wondering, some parts of Buffalo are getting hammered with snow. We are not in that part! In fact my boss couldn't believe I wasn't coming to work today. Our schools are closed, all schools are closed pretty much. We are hopeful that John Oliver is able to get into Buffalo for his talk tonight at UB. As a whole group of us have been planning for months to go see John Oliver! We will see. And allegedly the snow is supposed to move north today. I don't know…

I love slo-mo! Well on this holiday, we got a lot done! We being mostly me. We did some raking and some dumb thing of leaves and detritus in the woods. I got some more carpet ripped up from the basement drag to the curb. I got the Graja mostly cleaned out made room for my car if necessary. Which it will be soon...

It's been a long time since we've had dogs & cats who were ok with inter species relations. It's so entertaining!!! And sweet.

Mountain biking adventure

On a beautiful fall day today, we took Kat on a mountain biking adventure. We did the cross country run which is pretty easy. Though we had to walk uphill a couple of times. Or she did, several times. But it was really, really fun. And she only got really upset and kicked her bike one time! It's so hard not to laugh when she's that upset and kicking an inanimate object. Not that I want her to kick an animate object (nor has she)...

After being home sick for three days with a fever, we got out to the playground today so the kids could at least run around a little bit.

She's going back to school tomorrow.! I'm not even taking her temperature! I'm sure most people don't actually keep the kids home for the full 24 hours without medication/no fever thing, and I'm not sure we will make it either but anyway… We can't wait till school starts tomorrow!!!

We went to our friends veterinary open house today. We had a great time & won lots of baskets. And, the best part: near the end apparently they took the dogs out of the kennels and .... Why didn't we think of this sooner?

If I posted these. But you'll laugh either way. At me for losing my mind. Or, if seeing them for the first time, at Kat proudly wearing her 'most talkative' award. Maybe we can be a little too social sometimes?

We have the same drivers as the last 2 years, which is really cool!  So far so good!!!  Ok, that's all I have for now!
