It's a beautiful day today- with the help of our landlords son, who came over to do some painting, Boo got in teh car and we headed to the dogpark. Fun was had by all.

Kay loves to walk the empty leashes. Which is far less hazardous that walking them with the idiots attached....

She was trying to write in the gravel. I swear that she kept saying 'k' and then the subsequent letters got less distinct...

She found another toddler to play with. Even loaned him one of her leashes to drag arouns. Which he did. Then she moved from this pile to a gully about 100 yards away and we all followed her....the little boy, 2 moms and stroller and 4 dogs. And then we all followed her back to the pile. She may be a born leader.

So. We get home from the dogpark. I carry the kid in to put down for a nap. I left the doors of the car open as I knew I had to come back out, to collect the kat snax, shoes, socks, etc. And I couldn't put the wet dogs on the porch (where they would like to be) as some of the boards were painted while we were out. So I threw them outside. So, imagine my surprise when I went to the car and see this. Ben waiting
very patiently in the back of the Rav. Then I see the side gate is open. And then I start to panic. Where's Boo. I can't go look for him, as Kat is here sleeping. I let Ben in the house. Again. And there was Boo in the backyard, clueless that his freedom was just steps away. Lucky for me.
