Oregon Coast and Crater Lake National Park

Dan took a few days off last week and we did a 1,155 mile road trip in our new Highlander. We spent a little time at the Oregon coast (it rained the day we planned to spend entirely at the coast) and then met up with Lori and did Crater Lake. Kat did great, despite spending way too much time in the car seat. Seems as long as we feed her frequently and now sit next to her to entertain her, she's great in the car.

This is a picture of a very happy Dan, as we found a Buffalo Wild Wings in Portland. Actually, we were both really excited, as we can't get anytihng close to real chicken wings here in Seattle, nor could we in Calgary, so we had no trouble deciding where to have lunch. And Kat was just plain excited.

It was pretty late and pretty cold when we got to the coast.

This baby LOVES the wind. As soon as she feels it, her face goes up, mouth opens, eyes close, and arms go up. It's really funny.

The new ride. And Crater Lake. And Lori in the background.
